My Story
The idea for LeMerch came to me in 2014 while I was pregnant with my first child. One day, I started drawing on a cushion in my living room and simply never stopped.
Although I'm a graphic designer by profession, I have always felt deeply connected to illustration, painting, textiles, and handmade crafts. Drawing became a creative outlet and eventually the beginning of an entirely new direction in my life.
After moving to Bali in 2016, I felt I had found the perfect place to bring LeMerch to life. Surrounded by incredible craftsmanship and artisan culture, I started printing my own illustrations onto textiles and created my first collections for women and children. I sold at markets, independent boutiques, and small local shops while slowly building the brand piece by piece.
I also painted murals in homes, restaurants, and commercial spaces simply for the love of creating art. But deep down, I always wanted to build something larger: a complete creative universe people could wear, carry, and emotionally connect with.
As life evolved and I became a mother of three, I stepped back to focus on family. But the creative vision behind LeMerch never disappeared. Returning to it now feels more meaningful than ever.
Today, LeMerch is my way of transforming original artwork into pieces that bring colour, emotion, individuality, and artistic expression into everyday life.
