In early 2020, knowing what was yet to come I decided to sign up for this course that seemed interesting, also to give my illustration and art path a boost! It’s been an amazing journey!
it has kept me creating and busy all through the lockdown! That for sure help my head sanity 😉
The first project was to create a piece of art, something we would like to hang in our homes, in our style.
I’ve tried many things but the one I’ve finally submitted I truly love and I’m happy with it.
It is the one with blue background and it’s title is: “The life we don’t see”
The second project was to do typography and then illustrate the poster for the 2020 version play West Side Story. This was a challenge for me as I don’t think I am very good a drawing people. Also I wanted to keep it within my style.
I played with type by cutting it out from paper and it was the one I ended up using for the poster.
Third assignment was to draw paisleys and then create a piece that could be use for a puzzle for adults.
The last assignment was to illustrate some specific picture of people Lilla Rogers chose for us.
Realistically or stylised. I tried different techniques and was very happy with the result.
For the final assignment we will need to create a story.
